Behavior technician is an entry-level, paid, Bay Area role that fits her stated openness to behavior-technician work and her psychology degree, and it would be a real step up from retail-style work for building clinical experience. It is direct-care ABA rather than research, UX, mental health tech or victim services, so lane fit is moderate. She has no formal ABA, RBT or clinical experience, though her customer service with families and children at Kiddleton and her psychopathology coursework are relevant. Hayward is a commute from SF and driving is required, and full-time hours may conflict with senior-year classes unless part-time is offered. Worth considering as a backup if part-time or flexible scheduling is confirmed.
First: Find a Behavior Nation recruiter on LinkedIn and send the connection note asking specifically about part-time schedules and RBT training before applying.

Hi, I'm Calder, a USF psychology senior graduating May 2027. I'm interested in Behavior Nation's Entry Level Behavior Therapist role in Hayward and want to ask whether part-time schedules work during senior year. Would you have 15 minutes to talk?
Subject: USF psychology senior asking about the Entry Level Behavior Therapist role
Hi, I'm Calder Salisbury, a psychology senior at the University of San Francisco graduating in May 2027. I saw Behavior Nation's Entry Level Behavior Therapist opening in Hayward and I'm interested. I'll be honest about where I am: I don't have ABA or RBT experience yet. I do work with families and young children every week in my current job at Kiddleton, where I also keep daily tracking and reports across three locations, and I've taken psychopathology and research methods. My main question is whether you hire part-time technicians who can work afternoons during the school year, and how RBT training works for new hires. Would you have 15 minutes for a quick call? Thank you, Calder Salisbury
Drafts only. Everything is sent by Calder, from her own accounts. Provider: none.
