Why

Paws for Purple Hearts trains service dogs for veterans with PTSD, a mission loosely adjacent to mental health. The actual work is dog training and instruction, though, which doesn't match her UX, research, victim services or FBI direction. She has only light animal volunteering (Helen Woodward, Labs and More) and no training experience. It is a full-time role at about $52.9K in San Diego, and it probably can't be held until after May 2027, so timing fails. It's a weak fit overall.

Watch out for

• Full-time entry role likely requiring near-immediate start, before her May 2027 graduation
• Requires AS degree and dog training background she lacks
• Seven-week Service Dog Seminar training and probation expected
• Description truncated
• Animal training focus, not psychology, research, or victim services

Resume angles

• Helen Woodward Animal Center adoption fundraising volunteer work
• Labs and More adoption events volunteer
• Customer-facing service with families and children at Kiddleton
