Why

ID.me is a digital identity verification company serving government agencies, healthcare, and veterans, which loosely connects to her public-service interest but is not mental health or edtech. A generic Product Intern role would draw on her research synthesis, documentation, and communication skills, but she has no product, analytics, or technical background. The Summer 2027 intern term is likely aimed at students continuing their studies, and she graduates May 2027, so timing probably does not fit unless the program accepts graduating seniors. Location is feasible in the Bay Area, but pay and details are unspecified. Overall it is a low-to-moderate fit, worth a look only if the posting confirms eligibility for graduating seniors.

Watch out for

• Posting has no description, so day-to-day duties are unclear
• Pay not stated
• Summer 2027 internships are typically for students returning to school in fall 2027; she graduates May 2027, so eligibility is doubtful
• ID.me is identity verification and fintech/gov-tech, not mental health or health/edtech
• Mountain View is a commute from SF; in-person or hybrid is likely
• No product management or technical experience; no coding

Resume angles

• Gallery Associate: researched and synthesized material into recommendations for client decisions
• Operations Staff at Kiddleton: daily Excel tracking across three locations and reporting to headquarters
