This is a paid, full-time program coordinator role at a San Francisco youth nonprofit, so it is an entry-level job that could be a post-graduation destination. It fits her nonprofit and community services lane, with job placement, crisis intervention, violence prevention and college counseling programs adjacent to her victim services interests. Her event coordination, project scheduling, Excel tracking and customer-facing work with families and children at Kiddleton are relevant, though she has no formal youth program or case-management experience. The main uncertainties are start timing, since it may need to be filled well before May 2027, and the truncated description. It is worth a look but is not a standout.
First: Search LinkedIn for CYC workforce or employment program managers and send the connection note to the one who appears to oversee YAWL, asking specifically about start-date flexibility.

Hi, I'm Calder, a USF psychology senior graduating May 2027. I saw CYC's Program Coordinator opening for YAWL Work Based Learning. I keep daily tracking across three Kiddleton locations and coordinated community arts events. Could I ask you 15 minutes of questions about the role?
Subject: Question about the YAWL Work Based Learning Program Coordinator role
Hi, I'm Calder Salisbury, a psychology senior at the University of San Francisco graduating in May 2027. I saw CYC's opening for a Program Coordinator in YAWL Work Based Learning and want to understand it before I apply. Right now I work about 16 hours a week in operations at Kiddleton in Japan Center, where I keep daily Excel tracking across three locations and work with families and kids. Before that I coordinated logistics and outreach for community arts events in Encinitas. I'll be honest that I'm still in school, so timing matters. Would you have 15 minutes in the next couple of weeks to tell me what the role looks like day to day and whether there's any flexibility on start date or hours? Thank you, Calder Salisbury
Drafts only. Everything is sent by Calder, from her own accounts. Provider: none.
